In 2005, I joined ADB. Hazel was assigned as my mentor. Since then she’s been praying to be given the opportunity to share the gospel with me. It took 6 long years for her prayer to be answered. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord & Saviour on 14 June 2011. Thank & praise you, Jesus, for saving me.
Since then life gets better as the days, months, years go by. It is not devoid of challenges nor sins, but the difference is Christ is with me in all the lowest and highest moments, and everything in between. He’s lovingly, patiently changing & equipping me.
Fast track to January 2017, I started attending church at @victoryfort. Mel has offered to do the one-to-one discipleship with me. In 2018, we finished the 7 sessions of one-to-one discipleship. I had hoped & prayed to be water baptised in 2018 but the Lord caused it to happen on 27 July 2019. His timing is always perfect.

Thank you Jesus for all the wonderful things who’ve been doing in my life, I am overwhelmed with gladness, and grateful beyond words. Through the water baptism, I publicly proclaim that you are my Lord & my God, You are amazing!

I also would like to honour Hazel, Alica & Mel who have journeyed with me, who have lovingly shared their faith, time, love, friendship with me. Hazel, Alica and I have been meeting every Tuesday for almost 8 years now to study the word of God, to pray for each other & pray for our loved ones & friends.
Mel, thank you for taking a leave from work & attending the victory weekend with me, for praying with me & for me, for experiencing this wonderful weekend with me. Thank you also for taking photos & videos at the same time.
I’m excited to continue my life’s journey with all of you, my sisters in Christ. I’m blessed to have you around.
Thank you to Pastor Rey for praying for me and baptising me. Thank you also for Alvin & Al for praying for me and happily anticipating more of God’s goodness in my life. 📖
We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”
